A light-hearted and interactive program that explores how to wake-up at work without the aid of full-octane coffee or tea! Your group will explore how to cultivate more positive energy, peacefulness, and pleasure at work through the act of being more MINDFUL throughout their busy days. The AWAKENED WORKPLACE is where everyone consciously chooses to view and think about typical work-related challenges in ways that reduce the times when stress and negative energy can so easily be the outcome. Your group will hear messages, gain insights, and acquire practical tools to create the  kind of workplace environment that fosters good health, raises levels of engagement, cultivates strong relationships, produces genuine teamwork, and edges your organization closer to reaching its goals!

REDUCING STRESS: Solving The Other Energy Crisis

Susan will raise your group’s awareness to cognitive and physical practices that will help them be peaceful, maintain good health and experience high energy when changes and challenges unfold in their personal and professional lives! This program promotes 3 main stress reduction strategies:

Awareness: A guided tour of the “Stress Pathway” (Observation, Perception, Response), to gain a greater understanding of the significant role thoughts play in creating experiences.

Mindfulness: The practice of being PRESENT when change and challenges unfold and consciously choosing to see things in ways that creates peaceful feelings rather than triggering the stress response.

Resiliency: Healthy habits that protect our health, maintain our energy, and triggers the relaxation response if and when chronic stress sets in – includes information and activities about: deep breath meditation, stretching, laughter, and play.

YOUR NEW LENSES ARE READY FOR PICK-UP: Seeing Change in a New “Light”

Susan offers some new ways of viewing and thinking about change that can help your group stay in the “positive energy zone” during times in life that typically lead us to experiencing chronic stress and chronic negative energy. This session will provide your group with a key set of SHIFTS IN PERCEPTION that can help them protect their health, maintain their energy, and feel more at peace when life and work throws them those inevitable “curve balls”. To enhance the learning experience, each participant will receive a journal to help them apply the messages of the session to their own life. Along with great tips and tools, Susan will also share her own experiences with change and her personal “perception transformation” that inspired her to create a program about changing the way change changes us.
